Don’t miss the many free summer concerts in DC. No matter your musical tastes there is an outdoor concert option for everyone this summer. National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden Dates: Every Friday, May 23 to August 29, 2014 Time: 5 to 8:30 p.m. Free jazz concerts take place in the Pavilion Café of the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden each Friday this summer from 5 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The Pavilion Café is located at 7th and Constitution NW, Washington, DC. (Insider Tip: Take the metro! It’s one of the easiest ways to get around downtown D.C. From the U.S. Capitol Building to the Washington Monument, military bands have been treating locals and tourists alike to free summer concerts in D.C. throughout the summer since 1863.  This year, check out the following patriotic summertime events:   U.S. Navy Band – Mondays, 8 p.m. On the West Front of the U. S. Capitol Building June 2, 9, 16, 23 July 7, 14, 21, 28 August 11, 18, 25   U.S. Marine Band – Wednesdays, 8 p.m. On the West Front of the U. S. Capitol Building June 4, 11, 18, 25 July 16, 23, 30 August 6, 13, 20, 27 Fridays, 8:45 p.m. at the Marine Barracks Washington, 8th and I Streets, SE June 6, 13, 20, 27 July 11, 18, 25 August 1, 8, 15, 22   Delicious BBQ and free live music?
