The Last Ship is a stage performance inspired by Sting’s 1991 album The Soul Cages, as well as by experiences from his own childhood. This production will star the iconic musician himself as shipyard foreman Jackie White. The story follows a community torn apart by the falling of a local shipbuilding industry. The production features an original score with music and lyrics by Sting, as well as a number of his most popular songs including: “When We Dance,” “All This Time,” and “Island of Souls.”
